I started seeing Dr. Heckard 20 years ago after I injured my back. I was considering disability at the age of 27 because I was in such pain. I couldn't even put my socks and underwear on in the morning! I started seeing Dr. Heckard 3 times a week and relief was immediate. I have been going to Dr. Bruce Heckard in Napa for 25 years and have recommended him to many very thankful friends. Whether it was a stiff neck from sleeping incorrectly, my low back being out of place due to work or exercise, or a much more serious issue a herniated disc in my low back. Dr. Heckard has consistently brought relief. He uses Directional Non-Force Technique (which in my understanding means he is not "cracking" your neck or back which was my mean fear of Chiropractic to start with, but instead uses muscle testing and makes gentle precise corrections). He explains clearly what he is doing and can make recommendations if other issues seem to be affecting the situation.
